This camera is known for its stunning clarity, moody gradients, all while embracing a subtle warmer look.
A professional grade camera that was widely acclaimed as the rival to the Rollieflex. I have been shooting on this camera for 17 years. The colors from an ideal film stock paired with the 80mm taking lens render beautiful, luscious, nostalgic colors. When shooting with a preferred B&W film stock, the gradients showcase very intimate subjects well. The waist level viewfinder brings an oftentimes forgotten prospective. I enjoy shooting couples, engagements, and newlyweds with the Yashica. There is something special about it, and I think the prints do a wonderful job producing a classic look.
“The Yashica 124-G is hands down my favorite camera to shoot with.”
The Olympus that won the hearts of thousands. This half-frame camera has a cult following and for good reason.
The Olympus-Pen F and Pen FT were the first half frame cameras available to the public. Olympus initially launched the Pen F in 1963. Despite its age, it is regarded as one of the best half frame cameras manufactured to date. Surprisingly sharp images pair well with a variety of films for a myriad of photoshoots. What’s the best part about shooting in half frame? Twice the exposure capacity per roll of film. The photographer is able to capture twice the amount of frames as labelled. More shots are always more fun! Not only is the Olympus Pen F compact and sturdy, but it has stood the test of time for reliability. Surprisingly sharp print worthy shots can be achieved.
“I enjoy taking my Olympus-Pen FT along for urban street photography, portraits, and showcasing couples with a hint of vintage vibes”
